Newtown Park is a 52 acre community level
park with facilities that include 2 softball/baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, 6 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, a 2 mile multi-use path, 13 picnic pavilions, a dog park and a small lake.  

The historic Newtown School and Newtown Community House are located in the northwest
of the park.

Newtown Recreation a non-profit youth athletic association, provides spring, summer and fall sports including baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
